The Neurosurgery Clinic of Uzhgorod National University had been working since 1963 at Uzhgorod Regional Hospital until 2005 when it was transformed into the Regional Centre of Neurosurgery and Neurology. High professional level of doctors, specialists in various fields, as well as nursing and support personnel, modern diagnostic and surgical equipment enable a number of diseases of central and peripheral neurous system to be cured. The clinic treats over 5000 patients annually, over 500 operations being performed, most of them - under operative microscope.
